WebWright Carolina was founded in October of 1997 just as the Internet was gaining widespread popularity. The president of the company is Wayne Hackbarth...a 27 year veteran of broadcast journalism and an admitted computer junkie. He and his wife Shirley have been married for 27 years and are the parents of two girls ....Kelly and Carla.
His previous position was senior assignment editor and systems manager for a fifty workstation UNIX computer network at WSOC-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina. His service with WSOC began in 1979 as a news anchor for the station's all-news radio station. He moved to television in 1981 and held a variety of positions in news management and news gathering. The experience he gained working and talking with people is the foundation for the way WebWright Carolina is managed.
WebWright Carolina's philosophy is to design pages that invite business. As you can see from the samples in the Portfolio pages, design is crisp and easy to navigate. The objective is to help clients generate interest in their products and services with straightforward navigation and design. Graphics and Flash components are used to compliment the site, not dominate it.
