What happens after
your site is designed?
Search Engine Placement
Once the site looks and feels right to
you, WebWright Carolina will begin the process of placing the site
on popular search engines. Search engines are on-line tools
used to help people find what they're looking for. Everyone would
like to be in the top ten on every search engine. When you think of
the number of web sites on the Internet that is not going to be possible.
Be cautious when approached by agencies promising a top ten placement.
Is it hopeless? Not at all!
WebWright Carolina will work with you
in selecting a strong "site title", descriptions,
and keywords. All used in helping the surfer find you.
If you were selling donuts, for example, simply calling your
site "Donuts" might not generate much traffic.
A recent search on Alta Vista's search engine for the word "donuts"
produced a list of more than 63,000 sites! Anticipating how a surfer
might find you is the key. If your specialty is yeast
donuts baked fresh daily, the title of the site might be "Yeast
Donuts, Fresh Daily / Charlotte, NC"
The location is always a good tool to use to help narrow the search.
Speaking of "fresh
daily".....
Web sites can get "stale"
if the content is never changed. How often content is
changed varies from site to site. Real Estate sites, for
example, change often as new listings are acquired and featured properties
are sold. A manufacturer representative might only need
to change information when new lines are acquired or dropped.
WebWright Carolina will
make the changes you want...quickly. It's a commitment
to serve you...making certain the information on the Internet is what
you want before prospective clients.
Updates can be generated with a phone call, fax, email, or conventional
mail. WebWright Carolina can also pick up the new material
or consult with you when changes are desired.
